How to read this report

This report is put together from two different things, and it is worth telling them apart from the start. The first is arithmetic: a few simple operations on your date of birth that anyone can repeat by hand and get the same result. The second is the descriptions: what the numerological tradition has come to attach to those values over its long practice. The arithmetic is checkable. The descriptions are the language of a tradition, not a measurement of your personality.

Hence the way to read it. Do not look here for a verdict on yourself. Read each section as a supposition to try your own experience against: some of it will land, some will miss, and a miss is just as normal a result as a match. We deliberately show every quality from two sides: the same property that works as a support in one place costs a lot in another. If only the flattering half of a chapter stayed with you, the chapter was read carelessly.

The report is built so that you can come back to it. The sections are independent, the order of reading is up to you, and the questions at the end of the chapters are not rhetorical: they are meant to be answered in your own words and with your own examples, and not on the spot.

One last thing. Everything written here refers to the structure of a date, not to the person who has that date. A person is wider than any chart, and no page of this report claims otherwise.

Your numbers: how they were derived

The digits of the combination1 2 1 21212
The number of the combination1 + 2 + 1 + 2 = 66
Life path number6 + 3 + 8 = 17, then 1 + 7 = 88
Personal year number6 + 3 + 10 = 19, then 1 + 9 = 10, then 1 + 0 = 11
Birth-day number2 + 4 = 66

Anything above nine is reduced by adding its digits until one is left.

Position by position

What the combination adds up to

6 ·

What this position describes. This section holds the sequence itself and its arithmetic: the digits are added once, the sum folds to a single figure, and that figure is what the tradition attaches its descriptions to. The addition proves nothing — it shows where the number under discussion comes from, and why different combinations of digits arrive at the same one.

The 12:12 run stands for sequence: steps in order, and what follows what in a task you have in mind.

The combination 1212: its digits add to 6, which is already a single figure. What follows is about that number rather than about the way it is written: different combinations arrive at the same figure.

A question to sit with: When did you start noticing this combination — before you learned it was supposed to mean something, or after?

This is a general description. What it means in a specific situation is what a practitioner works through with you.

8

Beside the number in your date

8 ·

What this position describes. The sequence’s number is set beside the life path — the figure the full birth date folds to by the same addition. A match means exactly one thing: two different sums left the same remainder. The tradition reads a match as a theme repeating where it already exists, and a mismatch as two themes side by side; it does not rank those combinations, and neither does this reading.

In the list of twenty-two positions, the eighth is traditionally tied to balance and justice — to the figure of the scales. Strip the image away and it describes a disposition for which proportion matters: that effort and result, contribution and return, act and consequence should line up. Such a person is usually said to weigh things before agreeing, to notice discrepancies others miss, and to treat a given word as an obligation. The tradition describes the combination through attention to rules and boundaries — not out of love of formalities, but because an agreement looks like something to lean on. Judgements here are slow to arrive and long held. The accent falls not on feeling but on the order of examination: work it out first, react afterwards.

How it worksAs a resource this shows up as reliability in figures and agreements: such people usually notice a lopsided arrangement before anyone else, rarely promise more than they should, and hold together difficult negotiations where the point is not to out-argue but to find a workable proportion. Their conclusions are more often listened to.
The other side of itThe same demand for proportion often costs a lot in live contact: to those closest, an inner tally of who put in what reads as coldness. Decisions meanwhile tend to drag until every argument is in, and forgiving yourself your own inconsistencies is usually harder than forgiving anyone else's.

What it does not mean. This is not about inborn honesty and not about being repaid for one's acts — the tradition describes the habit of weighing proportion, not a moral verdict on the person.

A question to sit with: Where the number repeats one of yours — is that a theme you already have enough of?

This is a general description. What it means in a specific situation is what a practitioner works through with you.

The same figure inside this year

1 ·

What this position describes. A personal year is built from the birth day and month with the digits of the current year, and it changes every January. This section sets the sequence’s number beside the year’s: they either coincide or they do not. Either way what is described is a frame for twelve months — what the tradition suggests watching for, never the events inside them.

In this tradition the nine-year cycle opens with a one: a year described as a time when people usually reconsider direction and take first steps into something new. Within the scheme itself this year is treated as the footing for the other eight, so attention is meant to rest on the choice rather than on speed. What's typically noted is a surge of initiative and less patience for whatever runs on inertia. The resource named here is a willingness to act alone, without waiting for general agreement. The cost is the same thing by nature: the loneliness of deciding, the pull to bolt before it's clear where to, and a dull irritation at people moving slower. This isn't about the year's events but a theme for self-observation: noticing what you are actually starting, and telling the new apart from the old renamed.

A question to sit with: What in this year’s frame would you describe in the same words with no arithmetic at all?

Numbers describe how a date is put together. They say nothing about where you are now, who is beside you, what you have already tried and how it ended. That is usually exactly where the question sits that reports like this get opened for — and no page here answers it.

Beside the number of the birth day

6 ·

What this position describes. A life path is built from the whole date; the birth-day number comes only from the day of the month, and it speaks of manner rather than character — how a person sets about things. This section puts the sequence’s number beside that second one. A match reads as it did above, a theme repeating where it already exists; a mismatch reads as two separate things with no need to reconcile them.

This figure came out the same as your birth-day number — both reduced to 6. In this tradition the birth day describes manner rather than character, so the repeat here speaks to the way a person does what they already do.

The six enters work through people: who is struggling, what is left unclosed, where things are sagging. In the first month such a person often becomes the one others bring requests to — noticing a need before it's voiced and taking on extra without counting it as heroism. A request is rarely felt as a choice: if they've been asked and they can, the question is already settled. Attention to how things are arranged and how they look is also noted — the setting, the order, the general tone. The reverse is described in the same place: boundaries wear away, help turns into duty, and a part left undone by someone else is lived through as one's own failure. From outside this reads as care at first and sometimes as control later. Most likely you know how hard it is to say no when the request is reasonable and addressed to you by name.

A question to sit with: What in the manner described here had you noticed about yourself before you knew its number?

This is a general description. What it means in a specific situation is what a practitioner works through with you.

The limits of the method

One date, one chart

The calculation rests on the date alone. So everyone born on the same day gets exactly this set of numbers and exactly these descriptions, and there are hundreds of thousands of such people in the world. The method describes the structure of a date, not the person born on that day. Everything that tells you apart from someone born the same day lies outside the calculation, and the report knows nothing about it.

A match is not proof

Reading the descriptions, you will almost certainly think more than once: this is exactly me. It is worth knowing where that feeling comes from. Texts like these are built from formulations that almost anyone recognises in themselves: "you know the doubt before an important step", "you dislike it when others decide for you". Psychologists described the effect back in the middle of the last century and have tested it many times since: people take a description handed to an entire audience as a precise hit. Recognition is a property of the language of descriptions, not a confirmation of the calculation.

What this is good for

It works as a set of formulations for a conversation about yourself: a language that makes it easier to name what you had noticed anyway. It works as a reason to ask a question and compare your version with someone else's. It works as reading for its own sake — an honest and sufficient reason to open the report. It does not work as grounds for decisions that change a life.

Where this goes next

— Run the same calculation for someone close to you and compare the two charts: the differences show up better than the similarities.

Glossary and the basis of the method

Arcanum — the number of a position in the list of values from 1 to 22; traditionally means the vocabulary slot a description is attached to, not a force at work.

Reduction — adding digits down to a single place; traditionally means the way any number in a date is brought to a value from 1 to 9, and in some schools up to 22.

Life path number — the sum of all the digits of the date of birth; traditionally means the general storyline used to describe a date as a whole.

Matrix — the table the numbers of a date are laid out in; traditionally means a set of positions, each with a theme of its own.

Position — a single cell of the chart; traditionally means a topic of conversation, an attitude to money or to the people close by, for instance, rather than a score on it.

Pythagorean square — a grid of nine cells the digits of a date fall into by count; traditionally means a distribution: what a date has a lot of, and what it has none of.

Empty cell — a cell no digit fell into; traditionally means a theme the date says nothing about, not something the person lacks.

Master numbers — 11 and 22, which some schools do not reduce to a single place; traditionally means an agreement about counting, not a special status for the person.

Resource and cost — a pair of descriptions of one and the same quality; traditionally means that a property helps you out in some circumstances and costs a great deal in others.

Tradition — the body of descriptions built up over decades; traditionally means agreement among practitioners, not the result of testing.

The calculation is formal: the same rules and the same date always give the same result, and you can check it by hand. The descriptions come not from measurement but from an established tradition — decades of practice and agreement between schools stand behind them, but no experiment. The method has no scientific confirmation, and we do not present it as research. We name the source plainly so the reader knows what they are dealing with.

The report is informational and for entertainment. It is not medical, legal, financial or psychological advice, contains no individual recommendations, and is no substitute for consulting the relevant specialist. The calculation follows the formal rules of the numerological tradition; the method has no scientific confirmation, and we do not present it as scientific. Any decisions taken after reading the report remain entirely at the reader's discretion.
