Pair
Life Path 3 and 4 Compatibility
Life Path 3 with 4 is the communicator and the builder: one invents and describes, the other costs it and finishes it. The shared number 7 names what keeps this combination going longest — not enthusiasm and not the schedule, but a willingness to work out honestly why last time did not come off.

What the pair adds up to
What 3 and 4 cover for each other
The Four gains what they cannot generate: ease, contacts, and the knack of presenting finished work so that somebody notices it. The Three gains what their schemes usually collapse without: dates, order, and a person who carries a thing to the end after it has stopped being interesting. As a working duo it reads as a good shopfront-and-workshop split; domestically it is a house that is both comfortable and in working order.
What 3 and 4 keep tripping over
Their sense of time. For a Four an agreement is an obligation; for a Three it is an intention that may be revised if something better appears. The Four reads lateness and rescheduling as disrespect, the Three reads it as ordinary flexibility and genuinely cannot see why the reaction is that size. Arguing about seriousness gets nowhere; what works is a split — some commitments are declared fixed and never move, everything else runs on circumstances.
Frequently asked
- Why does rescheduling annoy the 4 so much?
- Because a Four plans in chains: one slip breaks the next three items. The Three sees only the single change and not the chain, so the size of the reaction looks disproportionate to them.
- Does a 3 get bored beside a 4?
- Boredom appears when the Four extends order into everything. The pair breathes better when part of life is declared a no-plan zone that the Three runs on their own terms.
- What does the shared number 7 mean for 3 and 4?
- Seven is analysis. Here it means a habit of examining failures calmly and factually instead of reducing them to accusations of frivolity or of being a bore.
